Poem

Faceless, Nameless

Lover, my face is encrypted,

my eyes are locked.

They are this way since I was born.

My lips disappeared

How, I cannot say

I have no tongue

to shout

No teeth to chew

I was made from mud and rust

A broken figurine made new.

Do I impress you?

Like a star I fell

I glowed for a bit

But like all hungry flames do,

I dwindled,

I burned through.

Back then, they forgot to give me a name,

So, I chose to be Rose

I was happy

But sometimes blue

I thought names can change you

The world turned

and I got lost.

I was dispersed.

like a heap of leaves

I guess tough winds can change you

I became mere parts

That roam together, in a void,

though time works like glue

I am one but also many

Like a jigsaw

Do I impress you?
